Speech Language Pathology Assistant

Amergis is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our team. As a SLPA, you will work closely with our Speech-Language Pathologists to provide speech and language services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in providing speech and language services
- Conduct screenings and assessments under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Provide instruction in the use of augmentative and alternative communication devices
- Document student performance and report to supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- Participate in formal care conferences, parent conferences, and intra-disciplinary team meetings
Requirements:
- Graduate of a SLPA program with an associate's degree or bachelor's degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program
- Successful completion of a minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work experience
- Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- One year of prior professional Speech-Language Pathology Assistant experience preferred
