We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Shuttle Bus Operator to join our team at ABM Industries. As a Shuttle Bus Operator, you will be responsible for transporting passengers to and from assigned locations, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey.
Key Responsibilities- Transport passengers to and from assigned locations, adhering to scheduled routes and timetables.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of passengers, including those with special needs, using wheelchair lifts and tie-downs.
- Help passengers with luggage as needed, providing assistance with loading and unloading.
- Inspect vehicles regularly to identify any unsafe conditions or maintenance issues, performing routine cleaning and bus maintenance activities.
- Meet patrons needing assistance to and from various airport locations and lots, providing excellent customer service.
- Report any incidents or claims to Operations Manager or Shift Lead, maintaining a clean work environment and adhering to prescribed Department of Transportation standards.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- No experience required, with on-the-job training provided.
- No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.
- MUST HAVE A CDL COMMERCIAL DRIVER'S LICENSE (CLASS A OR CLASS B) WITH PASSENGER ENDORSEMENT AND WITH AIRBRAKES.
- One (1) year of prior work experience as a passenger shuttle driver is preferred.
