We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team at Barton Staffing Solutions. This role will be based in the Chicago area and will provide a great opportunity for career growth.

They will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards governing the production, handling, and distribution of chemical products.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and stay up-to-date on federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to chemical manufacturing.
  • Interpret regulatory requirements and ensure that all operations and products comply with these standards.
  • Manage permits, licenses, registrations, and other regulatory documents required for facility operations.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports to relevant authorities within specified deadlines.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, or related roles within the chemical manufacturing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including but not limited to OSHA, EPA, DOT, TSCA, REACH, GHS, and SDS requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements to practical situations.
