Key Responsibilities:
We offer Animal Trainer roles at various levels, each providing the opportunity to deliver compassionate care and training to a diverse range of remarkable animals. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Performing husbandry duties such as administering vitamins and medications as instructed.
  • Preparing nutritious meals and ensuring a clean and safe environment for all animal habitats.
  • Monitoring animal behavior and reporting any concerns to your supervisor and team.
  • Maintaining accurate animal records and equipment.
  • Adhering to established safety protocols and guidelines in the workplace.
  • Exhibiting professionalism, teamwork, and open communication.
  • Engaging with guests and addressing their inquiries effectively.
  • Assisting in the educational components of shows.
  • Acting as a secondary animal handler and safety observer when necessary.
  • Taking on primary training responsibilities when authorized by leadership.
  • Working under supervision to implement basic behavior and modification techniques.
Essential Qualifications:
  • SCUBA certification and ability to pass a dive physical.
  • Completion of CPR training and certification.
  • Physical capability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to engage in extensive walking and standing throughout shifts, including climbing as needed.
  • Ability to perform various physical activities such as kneeling, squatting, and reaching.
  • Flexibility to work in different weather conditions, including extreme temperatures.
  • Willingness to use cleaning chemicals and perform cleaning duties.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
As a year-round operation, candidates must be prepared to work varying shifts to meet operational needs.
