Dental Hygienist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Dental Care at Jordan Ranch in Brookshire, TX.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity for a Dental Hygienist to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the growth and success of our practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide thorough and compassionate dental hygiene care to patients
  • Conduct thorough patient screenings and medical history documentation
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and exceptional outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies

Requirements

  • Current dental hygienist license in Texas
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of clinical experience
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year
