About the Role

Premise Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Cleveland, NC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional nursing care to client employees and visitors to our health center.

Essential Functions
  • Evaluate patient care needs, prioritize treatment, and maintain patient flow.
  • Conduct nursing assessments, take patient histories, and perform physical examinations.
  • Provide treatment within the scope of practice as defined by state law, collaborating with physicians as needed.
  • Identify equipment needs and report to the lead clinician.
  • Perform occupational and health screening tests, conduct laboratory tests, and maintain quality control procedures.
  • Document all elements of nursing assessment, treatments, medications, and follow-up care.
  • Evaluate health education/promotion needs and provide necessary training and instruction.
  • Identify emergency situations and provide care within legal scope of practice.
  • Administer medications and medical treatments competently as directed by a physician.
Requirements
  • Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Currently licensed Registered Nurse in the state of practice required.
  • Current hands-on training in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for healthcare providers required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support may be required based on contract scope of services.
Preferred Experience

At least three years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic, or other ambulatory care clinic.
