The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Store Sales Professional to join our NAPA sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving growth and sales in our company-owned NAPA Auto Parts stores.

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow our customer base and increase sales and profits.
  • Promote the entire line of NAPA products and programs to wholesale customers.
  • Work closely with local store managers to develop plans to increase sales and proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Identify specific customer needs and align solutions with NAPA's offerings.
  • Collaborate with manufacturer's representatives to improve program offerings and grow customer knowledge of lines.
  • Engage customers and keep them connected through NAPA's eSales programs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including solving customer problems, complaints, and questions in person or by telephone.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a retail store or outside sales environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-focused role and the ability to perform in a quota-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding and demonstration of basic selling skills, including preparing for sales calls, managing customer meetings, handling customer resistance, closing sales, and account maintenance.
  • Ability to present information in group meetings.
  • Valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 4 years.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Background in the automotive industry.
