Speech Language Pathologist PRN

HCA Florida South Shore Hospital is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team on a PRN/per diem/as-needed basis. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing impairments.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients' conditions, obtain case history, and administer diagnostic tests to determine the nature and degree of speech and language problems.
- Establish, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with hospital/department policies and procedures, scope of practice, and standards of practice.
- Determine when patient progress and goals have been met or medical necessity no longer warrants intervention.
- Establish provisions for continuing services and make referrals to other professionals regarding patient care as necessary.
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
- State of Florida Speech Language Pathologist licensed required.
- Experience in an appropriate healthcare setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) awarded by the Speech Language Hearing Association.
