We are seeking a skilled MRI Technician to join our team at HCA Florida Blake Medical Specialists. As an MRI Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our imaging department.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform MRI procedures, including 2D/3D T1&T2, SE, FSE or TSE, cardiac gating, and advanced protocols
- Evaluate the technical quality of procedures and ensure optimal images are submitted for interpretation
- Administer contrast media and operate a power injector under the direct supervision of a radiologist
- Perform venipuncture for the administration of paramagnetic contrast media
- Assist with the orientation and education of staff, including MRI safety training
- Provide technical leadership and support to staff
- Contribute to the development and implementation of department policies and procedures
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Imaging program
- Eligible for ARRT MR registration (if applicable)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
