Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

Weiss-Aug Group, a leading precision metal stamping and injection molding company, is seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer to join our executive leadership team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for directing the accounting, treasury, and control functions in a multi-divisional environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements for subsidiaries, providing focused financial and operating data, along with associated analysis, for the owner.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to evaluate the ongoing health of the business.
  • Enhance existing internal controls, processes, and systems, developing new policies and procedures as needed.
  • Improve product costing methodologies, inventory management, and operational accounting.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies as applicable.
  • Support the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, ensuring it streamlines and automates all reporting, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and performance variance analysis.
  • Oversee and manage all cash and treasury management, including cultivating existing and new banking relationships and procuring credit facilities when necessary.
  • Provide cash flow forecasting for owners on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Generate flash reports, analyzing results by customer, product, region, and country.
  • Direct all short-term and long-term forecasting, operating and capital budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Analyze economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the company.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls.
  • Assure proper insurance coverage.
  • Prepare a comprehensive board package, presenting a financial and operational overview to the Board of Directors.
  • Serve as a key advisor in establishing yearly objectives, engaging outside audit, tax, and investment advisors.
  • Oversee retirement plan fiduciary responsibilities, acting solely in the interest of plan participants.
  • Support domestic and international growth.
  • Coordinate with outside accounting firms for annual reviews and federal and state tax filings, ensuring all payroll taxes and sales taxes are filed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (Master's preferred).
  • CPA license highly preferred.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing is a must, with a public accounting foundation a plus.
  • Experience with standard and job cost accounting and inventory is a must.
  • International experience is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years serving in a senior leadership capacity (VP of Finance or CFO).
  • Demonstrate polished written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of strategic thinking and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with PLEX or similar manufacturing ERP systems.
  • Prior experience reporting to an owner or working in a family business is preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
