Diesel Technician Job in Beaumont, TX

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join our team at Ryder System in Beaumont, TX. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine and advanced repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines and related components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex engine problems using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake pad replacements, and tire rotations
  • Collaborate with other technicians to complete complex repairs and meet customer deadlines
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and manufacturer recommendations through ongoing training and education

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or technical certification in diesel mechanics or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience working on heavy-duty diesel engines and related components
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
