Pipeline Corrosion Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Corrosion Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing corrosion prevention assessments and maintenance activities along our pipeline system.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corrosion prevention principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

About the Job:

• Perform surveys, testing, troubleshooting, and inspections of our corrosion control systems.
• Maintain the corrosion protection system components.
• Evaluate contractor work to ensure it meets our standards, specifications, and procedures.
• Document completed work using our Document Management System and other approved databases.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A High School Diploma or General Education Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• 2+ years of corrosion prevention experience or equivalent line of work in the pipeline industry.
• Valid driver's license.
• AMPP CP Level 1 Certification.
• Knowledge of AC and DC interference, cathodic protection systems, AC mitigation systems, and DC interference mitigation techniques.
