Job Summary

Kforce is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for performing general ledger account reconciliations, verifying accuracy of data, and reporting errors made by internal and external personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support timely monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of operational management accounts.
  • Assist in providing schedules and commentary on operating maintenance accounts results and variances, as well as working capital and cash-flow reports.
  • Maintain and update records and reports for profit and loss, taxes, liabilities, and assets.
  • Prepare special financial reports as requested by management, collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Accounting, or Finance.
  • 1-3 years of corporate accounting experience, either in a fast-paced private or public company.
  • Experience facilitating audits.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS standards.
  • Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Familiarity with accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently.
