Job Summary and Requirements

The Registered Nurse Emergency Room plays a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care. As a key member of our team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients. You will also be responsible for managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment within the Emergency Department (ED).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acknowledge, Plan, Implement, and Evaluate Care for Assigned Patients.
  • Meet ED Standards of Practice and Manage Assigned Personnel, Supplies, and Equipment.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Activities to Enhance Patient Care.
  • Routinely Provide Triage Assessments and Perform Venipunctures for Lab Tests.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess a Current Texas Licensure with the State Board of Nurse Examiners. An Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) is required, while a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Additionally, you will need to obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Cardiac Life Support, PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Trauma Nursing Core Course certifications within 30 days of employment.
