Position Overview

Role: Clinical Dietitian

Department: Nutrition Services

Work Environment: Inpatient Healthcare Facility

Job Summary: We are in search of a dedicated Clinical Dietitian to become a vital part of our Nutrition Services team within a prominent healthcare organization. This role involves providing comprehensive nutritional care in a dynamic medical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized medical nutrition therapy, including thorough nutrition assessments, dietary modifications, and patient education.
  • Adhere to established guidelines outlined in the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including federal and state regulations, while maintaining patient confidentiality and rights.
  • Mentor and train patient services staff and interns as necessary.
  • Engage in patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • State licensure as required by local regulations.
  • Preferred: One year of experience in a hospital setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, and nutrient analysis software.
