Position Overview

Role: Clinical Dietitian

Reporting To: Clinical Nutrition Manager

Work Environment: Inpatient Care Facility

Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Dietitian to join our Nutrition Team within a prominent medical center. This role involves providing comprehensive nutrition services in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver medical nutrition therapy through detailed nutrition assessments, dietary modifications, and patient education.
  • Adhere to established guidelines as per the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, including federal and state regulations, while maintaining patient confidentiality and rights.
  • Mentor and train patient services staff and interns as necessary.
  • Engage in patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • State licensure as required.
  • Preferred: One year of experience in a hospital setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and electronic medical record systems.
