About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California.

As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
  • Monitor and report patient status to the healthcare team, including vital signs, lab results, and medication administration
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
  • Perform various medical procedures, such as inserting IV lines and administering blood transfusions
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current California Registered Nurse License
  • Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification
  • Current Provider ACLS - American Heart Association certification
  • Current National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course
  • 1 year of nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current National Certification in area of specialty
