About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California.

As an ICU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current California Registered Nurse License.
  • Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • Current Provider ACLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • Current National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course.
  • 1 year of nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current National Certification in area of specialty.
