Position Overview: This role is integral to overseeing all technical aspects of the Electronic Monitoring and Drug Testing initiatives at Wisconsin Community Services. The individual will be responsible for various locations based on operational requirements, ensuring efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer the GPS/SCRAM program in compliance with established guidelines and protocols.
  • Provide daily supervision and support for program participants across multiple counties, including equipment setup and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate enrollment records and follow-up communications with participants.
  • Review and manage participant agreements related to GPS, CAM, and Remote Breath technologies.
  • Address and resolve scheduled maintenance and communication alerts promptly.
  • Document all alerts and violations in accordance with program protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with payment procedures for participants utilizing electronic monitoring services.
  • Assist participants facing financial hardships by gathering necessary documentation for fee reduction considerations.
  • Collaborate with program leadership to report confirmed violations and payment failures to relevant authorities.
  • Implement daily action plans and maintain effective communication with participants and agencies.
  • Oversee inventory management and report any equipment discrepancies immediately.
  • Work collaboratively with internal staff and external partners involved in electronic monitoring.
  • Ensure proper cleaning and secure storage of all monitoring equipment.
  • Conduct drug testing in accordance with established protocols, ensuring chain of custody is maintained.
  • Monitor and restock drug testing supplies as needed.
  • Safeguard positive drug test results and manage confirmation testing processes.
  • Provide backup coverage for office operations as required.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform other job-related tasks as necessary to fulfill the role's responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in criminal justice or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in case management, particularly with intoxicated drivers, is highly desirable.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Comprehensive understanding of the judicial system and its procedures.
  • Proficient in case management principles and practices.
  • Experience with web-based software and data entry is advantageous.
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with stakeholders in the criminal justice system.
  • Certification in electronic monitoring equipment is required within the initial onboarding period.

Work Environment: The position involves a combination of office and community-based work, with a standard weekly schedule of approximately 40 hours. Flexibility is essential, as evening hours may be necessary. Travel is required for equipment installation and maintenance.

Physical Requirements: The role demands good hearing and verbal communication skills, dexterity for data entry, and the ability to perform physical tasks related to electronic monitoring installations and drug testing.
