ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Case Supervisor will play a crucial role in a collaborative team environment, working closely with staff and volunteers to fulfill the mission of CASA Sacramento. This full-time position demands exceptional multitasking abilities, effective deadline management, and the capacity to engage with diverse personalities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Volunteer Management: Oversee the recruitment, training, and ongoing support of CASA volunteers. Conduct screening and interviews as necessary, and facilitate training sessions.
  • Case Oversight: Assign and supervise a caseload of 40-45 cases, ensuring that each child receives the necessary advocacy. Maintain accurate records and documentation in the CASA Manager database.
  • Court Engagement: Attend court hearings, review court documents, and ensure timely submission of court reports. Provide guidance to volunteers regarding court procedures and documentation.
  • Program Development: Represent CASA at community events and foster relationships with partners in the juvenile justice system. Stay informed about community resources available to support foster youth.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as social work, human services, or psychology.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in volunteer coordination or social services.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with volunteers and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using technology and software applications relevant to case management.
  • Ability to navigate complex family dynamics and issues related to child welfare.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position operates in a hybrid work model, requiring both in-office and remote work. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as some evening and weekend hours may be necessary for training and events.
