Ship Fitter

Hutco, Inc. is seeking a skilled Ship Fitter to join their team in Paducah, Kentucky.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to work in our ship fitting department. The successful candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and repair of vessels.

Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on fabrication and repair of vessels, including cutting, welding, and assembling metal components.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and safe working practices.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in ship fitting or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, including cutting, welding, and assembling metal components.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
