About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled RTL Verification Engineer to join our team at Intel. As a key member of our Design Engineering Group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing verification test plans and test scenarios to ensure the correctness of our designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement validation test plans and test scenarios to prove the correctness of the design
  • Develop validation components for a simulation-based environment, including bus functional models, trackers, checkers, scoreboards, and testbenches
  • Implement direct and random test based on test plan documentation
  • Perform and debug simulations
  • Develop functional coverage and achieve coverage goals
  • Identify and drive to closure of bugs, develop methodologies and capabilities, and drive process improvements
  • Work closely with RTL engineers, micro-architects, and other team members to ensure high-quality test plans, functional coverage, and tests
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering and 1+ years of relevant working experience OR Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering
  • 1+ years' experience with digital logic design, IP/SoC architecture, and microarchitecture
  • 1+ years' experience with OVM/UVM environment, developing test plans/testbenches, C-based transactors, and writing/debugging assembly-based tests
  • 1+ years' experience with using an interpretive language such as Perl, Python, or Ruby
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years' experience with advanced verification techniques such as formal and assertions
  • 1+ years' experience with C or C++ programming
  • Experience in Post-Si bring-up
