Job Summary

AEG is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Restaurant Host to join our team. As a Restaurant Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Experience: Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Table Management: Organize server sections, accompany guests to their tables, and maintain an efficient guest flow.
  • Communication: Inform guests about new menu items, specials, entertainment, and area events.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate with staff to ensure seating of guests occurs as per the organized seating chart.
  • Cash Handling: Perform cashier functions for take-out orders and merchandise.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and neat foyer and host area, restock retail items, and take inventory as needed.
  • Customer Service: Respond appropriately to guest complaints, bring any issues to management's attention, and thank guests for coming as they leave the restaurant.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Age: Must be 16 or over.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a friendly and positive attitude, ability to work a flexible schedule, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience: Previous cash handling experience preferred.
