We are seeking a skilled Brine Cage Loader to join our team at Dairy Farmers of America. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for loading product into brine cages in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Loading Product: Load product into brine cages, maximizing use of cage space and minimizing damage to product.
- Quality Control: Inspect cheese for non-conforming product, remove such product, and return it to rework in a timely manner.
- Housekeeping: Perform housekeeping duties as required, maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
- Assistance: Assist with form changes, table operations, and rework as needed.
- Sanitation: Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks as required to maintain plant equipment and minimize water usage.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
