Job Summary

As a Mechanical Engineer II at ZOLL Medical, you will be responsible for designing and developing new and revised Defibrillator and Ventilator products or sub-systems. This role requires collaboration with a cross-functional team of engineers and scientists to ensure that the products meet the defined product goals and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Layout and develop new assembly and part designs.
- Create detailed design documentation of new and revised products, including part drawings, assembly documents, Bills of Materials, and purchasing specifications.
- Support document preparation for test and regulatory submission of new/existing designs.
- Conduct design of experiments and laboratory testing of new and legacy products and document results.
- Complete engineering mechanics analyses, thermal/flow analyses, and tolerance analyses.

Requirements

- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- 3 to 5 years of Mechanical engineering and product design experience is required and SolidWorks CSWP is preferred.
- Experience in medical or other highly regulated industry is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of IEC 60601, FDA, GMP, ISO 13485:2003 are preferred.
