Quality Manager Job Description

New Hampshire Ball Bearings is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join its team in Peterborough, NH. As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing processes and procedures to ensure high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality processes and procedures to meet customer requirements.
  • Manage a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Address customer concerns and ensure compliance with customer quality requirements.
  • Manage corrective actions and ensure readiness for customer and industry assessments.
  • Maintain industry certifications such as AS9100.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences.
  • Experience in managing quality or continuous improvement in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of success as a team leader and motivator.
  • Strong understanding of quality tools including APQP/PPAP, 8D RCCA, Statistical Process Controls, Lean Six Sigma, and Auditing.
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High proficiency in MS office products including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 & AS13100 is strongly preferred.
