As a Phlebotomist with the American Red Cross, you will have the opportunity to utilize your healthcare and customer service skills to assist with every step of the blood collection process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Connect with donors, listen to their stories, and help them understand the impact of their donation.
  • Collaborate with your team to create a welcoming and friendly environment for volunteer donors.
  • Ensure the blood you collect meets regulatory requirements and can be safely transfused.
What You Need to Succeed:
  • Associate's degree or a combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum of one year customer service experience in a public setting.
  • Physical requirements may include lifting, pushing, or pulling heavy weights, good manual dexterity, and the ability to sit or stand for long periods.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience (CNA, MA, EMT, etc.).
  • Prior leadership experience.
