About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to join our team at UF Health Rehabilitation Hospital- North. As a key member of our admissions team, you will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and efficient referral intake process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate timely and accurate referral intake, ensuring compliance with admission workflow processes.
  • Provide analytical insights into admissions data and referral patterns to inform business development strategies.
  • Coordinate activities with other departments as needed, including customer service and timely resolution of admissions-related issues.
  • Oversee the pull-through process for the hospital, ensuring that all deficiencies are resolved and holds are eliminated.
  • Process timely insurance verifications and assist with pre-cert/authorization processes.
  • Work closely with the Director of Business Development, CEO, and other leaders to ensure timely admissions and resolve any challenges that may arise.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a broad range of duties within an Admissions or Pre-Admissions Department.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification processes preferred.
  • Experience working with Excel and databases, as well as previous experience within a physical rehabilitation setting.
