About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Module Equipment Technician to join our team at Intel's New Mexico Disaggregation Manufacturing Operation (NM DMO) in Rio Rancho. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with wafer production, including operations, equipment maintenance, process optimization, and training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization.
  • Responsible for running material in a qualitative way, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustaining.
  • Perform operational tasks, preventative maintenance, and/or assist in troubleshooting to determine problems in equipment used in the manufacturing process.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Improvement processes, troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line, and reviewing technological health and stability.
  • May participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team as required.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree/certification in equipment focused program (including, but not limited to: Automotive Maintenance, HVAC, Mechatronics, and Aviation maintenance) OR
  • One of the following experience requirements obtained in the last 5 years:
    • Minimum 1 year semiconductor equipment maintenance experience OR
    • Minimum 2 years of military equipment maintenance experience OR
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics, equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair in a professional capacity
  • Must be willing to lift up to 35 pounds (18 kgs) 4 times a day.
  • Position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated skills to influence the content and creation of new specs, procedures and business processes related to equipment maintenance.
  • Knowledge of process control systems.
  • Experience with schematics and complex drawings/diagrams.
  • Integrated circuit fabrication experience.
