About the Role

Meta is seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to lead our efforts in reducing datacenter hardware value chain emissions. As a key member of our Infrastructure Hardware development organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Net Zero emissions programs, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve our sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Net Zero Program Design and Implementation: Develop and execute a comprehensive Net Zero program, spanning three key areas: emissions data capture and reporting, design and integration of Net Zero practices, and driving business cases for circularity and emissions avoidance.
  • Stakeholder Alignment and Communication: Collaborate with multiple organizations to create alignment and awareness around the business value of reducing or eliminating emissions in new design programs, lifecycle extension, and circularity.
  • Execution Planning and Maturation: Develop and execute plans to mature and streamline Net Zero practices in Meta Infrastructure, ensuring efficiency and integration with existing development practices.
  • Program Management and Leadership: Develop and manage the overall program, including defining scope, requirements, development model, schedules, and deliverables with engineering teams, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement and Risk Mitigation: Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions, and proactively identify and mitigate risks to the Net Zero efforts.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: 10+ years of systems engineering, hardware engineering, software engineering, or technical product/program management experience, with a strong understanding of datacenter hardware design and sustainability.
  • Leadership and Communication: Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams, communicating technical information to non-technical stakeholders, and driving business cases for sustainability initiatives.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations, including finance, procurement, and supply chain management.
  • Education: B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate Degree: Graduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Applied Sustainability Knowledge: Applied understanding and experience with value chain emissions, including and beyond raw material extraction, and knowledge of storage and networking hardware and technologies.
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated leadership in developing value chain emissions reduction strategy for large corporations, and experience delivering projects aligned with large-scale corporate goals through influence and collaboration.
