Dermatologist Specialist

VCU Health is seeking a highly skilled General Dermatologist to join our team at VCU Health - South Hill, VA. As a key member of our department, you will provide high-quality clinical dermatology care to adult and pediatric patients, educate the next generation of clinical dermatological physicians, and contribute to the research portfolio of the Department of Dermatology.

• Teaching: Supervise residents and medical students, participate in Grand Rounds presentations, and engage in other educational forums.
• Research: Publish scholarly work and participate in clinical research projects.
• Service: Embrace the Department's commitment to university goals and missions through volunteering for administrative functions and pursuing service interests in national dermatologic organizations.
• Clinical: Provide clinical treatment to patients, either with or without residents, six to eight clinical sessions per week.

• Hold or be eligible to obtain a medical license in Virginia.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible.
• Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment.

• Current or previous experience in an academic setting, teaching both residents and medical students.
• Engagement in ongoing scholarly activity.
