Job Title: Clinician (Family WRAP)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Clinician to join our team at South Coast Children's Society, Inc. as part of our Family WRAP program. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive mental health services to children and youth, including assessment, psychotherapy, case management, and crisis intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and family therapy, formulate diagnoses, and complete clinical assessments and treatment plans.
  • Utilize a trauma-informed approach when working with children and their families.
  • Collaborate with outside agencies to ensure clients' treatment goals are met and in compliance with court-orders.
  • Attend all required meetings, such as Children and Family Team meetings.
  • Effectively collaborate with the program's multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive and cohesive care.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field required.
  • 1+ years' experience in report writing, assessment/diagnostic skills, group and family therapy skills.
  • Licensure, Registration, Certification: PsyD/PhD/LCSW/LMFT preferred. If not licensed, active registration with the California BBS or Board of Psychology as Registered Psychologist.
  • Valid CA driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle without restrictions, often in heavy traffic and frequently long distances to ensure safe transport to client settings and to safely transport clients to appointments as needed.
  • Senses of vision, hearing and smell sufficient to regularly operate a motor vehicle, to visualize threats in the environment or risks to clients, and to operate safely in the field.

Salary Range:

$68,560-$90,000.00/Yearly
