Your Role

We are seeking a full-time Geotechnical/Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise to tackle a variety of geotechnical engineering challenges associated with transportation, building, and water projects.

Responsibilities may encompass specialized services such as:

  • Analysis and design of shallow and deep foundation systems for infrastructure projects.
  • Slope stability assessments.
  • Ground improvement strategies.
  • Support for stream channel restoration initiatives.

Additionally, there will be opportunities to collaborate with other teams on geotechnical-related projects.


Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Client and team coordination, leading weekly meetings, and preparing and reviewing technical reports and calculations.
  • Conducting site visits and client presentations.
  • Mentoring junior staff and fostering their professional development.
  • Ensuring project objectives are met while maintaining structural integrity, resource efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

You will work alongside other engineers in multidisciplinary teams, contributing to project development through field investigations, feasibility studies, detailed design, and construction support.


Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Licensure as a Professional Engineer in at least one jurisdiction, with the ability to obtain reciprocity in other states.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to lead technical teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Work Environment
