Healthcare Specialist

As a Healthcare Specialist in the Army National Guard, you will play a vital role in providing medical care to civilians and Soldiers. Your responsibilities will include administering emergency medical treatment, assisting with outpatient and inpatient care, and managing medical supplies and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer emergency medical treatment to battlefield casualties
- Assist with outpatient and inpatient care and treatment
- Manage medical supplies and equipment
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
- Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
- Must meet citizenship requirements
Through your training, you will develop the skills and experience to enjoy a civilian career with civilian hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, or rehabilitation centers. You may also consider a career as an emergency medical technician, medical assistant, or physician's assistant.
