About the Role- We operate in childcare centers, elementary schools, afterschool programs, parks, and recreation centers all over Onondaga and Cayuga County.
- This is a part-time position with flexible hours.
- Conduct high-energy 45-minute sessions using our provided curriculum.
- Instruct between 5-10 sessions per week (equivalent to 5-10 hours).
- Possibly instruct more than 10 sessions per week for the right candidate.
- Submit availability three weeks prior to the start of a season.
- Make a 10-week commitment to the season once the schedule is set.
- Travel to assigned locations weekly.
- Provide a supervised, safe, and caring environment for every child.
- Maintain organized and clean equipment.
- Maintain and submit weekly attendance and invoices online.
- Nominate standout players per season.
- Attend coaches' training day twice a year (spring and fall).
- Attend mid-season coaches' meeting conference call per season.
- You must be enthusiastic and enjoy interacting with young children (2-7 years old). You should be able to engage and connect with them on their level.
- Availability: Monday-Friday between 9:00 AM-7:00 PM; Saturday between 9:00 AM-12:00 PM.
- Soccer experience is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Subject to a background check, Statewide Central Register Clearance, and Staff Exclusion List check against abuse cases involving individuals with special needs.
$18-$25 per session, equating to $24-$30 per hour to start, with opportunities to increase based on performance.
