Position Summary:
The role of the Integration Technician involves working within the wafer fabrication cleanroom environment. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with both development and manufacturing teams to process, inspect, and conduct metrology on experimental wafers. Responsibilities include creating operational recipes for various vacuum tools, including thin film deposition, ion beam etching, and reactive ion etching. Additionally, the technician will be tasked with calibrating, monitoring, and troubleshooting development tools.

Qualifications:

  • At least five years of experience in semiconductor or magnetic head wafer processing.
  • Proficiency in one or more areas such as thin films, chemical mechanical polishing (CMP), ion milling, reactive ion etching, metrology, and lithography.
  • Experience collaborating with R&D teams to develop new processes and materials, as well as conducting experiments.
  • A minimum of a two-year college degree in a science or engineering discipline; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Detail-oriented with strong oral and written communication skills, complemented by excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a high degree of self-direction.
