Job Title: Manufacturing Assembly Technician


Type of Job: Onsite, Contract-to-Hire (C2H)

Pay: $18-$20/hr

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Position Overview: As a Manufacturing Assembly Technician in the Capital Work Cell, you will be integral in assembling high-quality components and finished products. Your responsibilities will include utilizing hand tools, wire harnesses, epoxies, and fasteners while following detailed blueprints and method sheets. This role is particularly suited for individuals with hands-on assembly experience, especially in soldering and welding electronics.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembly: Perform various assembly tasks as instructed by the cell lead, ensuring compliance with blueprints and method sheets.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure it meets established quality standards and specifications.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate daily production logs and complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Computer Skills: Utilize basic computer functions to load software as needed.
  • Work Environment: Keep a clean and organized workspace, assist with daily housekeeping, and adhere to all safety protocols.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively within a team, sharing ideas and contributing to a positive work atmosphere.
  • Additional Duties: Undertake other tasks or assignments as directed by management, demonstrating flexibility and initiative.


Qualifications:

  • Attention to Detail: Proven precision and accuracy in assembly tasks.
  • Experience: Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred. Proficiency in brazing and soldering is highly desirable.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is encouraged.
  • Hand Tool Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of hand tools and the ability to work with epoxies and solvents.
  • Manual Dexterity: Good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise work.
  • Communication: Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and procedures in English.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally and maintain a consistent work pace.
