Quality Inspector Job Description

At Insight Global, we are seeking a highly motivated Quality Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality evaluations on standard and routine processes and products according to engineering drawings, specifications, prescribed methods, and instructions.
  • Conduct inspections of various operations activities and report non-conformance to known standards using various measuring and testing methods.
  • Generate reports of conditions found during inspection activities and notify operations and Quality Assurance/Quality Control management of significant problems.
  • Complete documentation necessary to attest to satisfactory completion of inspection or test activities.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Excel and experience using micrometers, calibers, or other inspection tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and experience doing physical inspection.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality inspection and manufacturing experience.
  • CMM operator or programming and running CMM experience.
  • Surface plate inspection experience.
