Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular maintenance activities including painting, plumbing, electrical repairs, and carpentry to ensure properties are well-maintained for guests.
  2. Respond swiftly to maintenance requests from guests and property owners, addressing issues promptly.
  3. Perform routine inspections of properties to identify maintenance requirements and suggest necessary repairs or enhancements.
  4. Collaborate with external service providers and contractors to arrange for repairs and maintenance as required.
  5. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance tasks, associated costs, and inventory of materials.
  6. Ensure properties adhere to all relevant health and safety standards.
  7. Communicate efficiently with property management, cleaning staff, and guests to facilitate a smooth and positive experience.
  8. Deliver exceptional customer service to guests and property owners by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns professionally.
  9. Participate in an on-call rotation to manage after-hours emergencies as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; vocational or technical training in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in maintenance, construction, or a related area is highly advantageous.
  • Strong technical skills and familiarity with essential maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with guests, property owners, and service providers.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy items, climb ladders, and perform necessary physical tasks.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
