We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Specialist to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting the health, safety, and well-being of our clients. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized support plans that promote independence, socialization, and personal growth.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience working in a residential facility with IDD clients. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, as well as a valid California Drivers License. CPI training (Crisis Prevention Intervention) and First Aid/CPR certification are preferred but not necessary. If not certified, willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of hire is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the needs and goals of each resident by participating in the development of IPP/ISP goals.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for the clients.
  • Assist clients with personal care such as grooming, bathroom needs, changing clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed.
  • Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary).
  • Report any incidents or problems and communicate daily with administrators.
