Phlebotomist - Inpatient - Hospital Campus

Williamson Health is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our inpatient team at our hospital campus. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients of all ages, including adults, adolescents, and infants. You will work closely with our laboratory team to ensure accurate and timely results.
Key Responsibilities- Collect blood samples from patients using proper technique and safety protocols
- Identify patients and specimens accurately using two unique identifiers
- Label specimens correctly and enter results into our laboratory information system
- Work collaboratively with our laboratory team to ensure efficient and accurate testing
- Participate in departmental meetings and process improvement teams to enhance our laboratory services
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Phlebotomy training or work experience; phlebotomy certification preferred
- Good people skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods
