About the Role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to provide skilled nursing care to patients within their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in alignment with physician orders
  • Assess patient conditions, report changes, and update care plans accordingly
  • Document all care activities, assessments, and nursing actions promptly
  • Implement nursing care plans and ensure desired outcomes are achieved
  • Recognize and address changes in patient needs to minimize risks

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing school
  • Hold a current, unrestricted state LVN license
  • Maintain CPR certification
  • Demonstrate proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation
  • At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 months of recent clinical experience as an LVN
  • Prior experience in home health care

Skills and Abilities:

  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Readiness to travel
  • Lift up to 50 pounds and reposition patients as necessary
  • Capability to respond to emergency situations
  • Visual, hearing, smell, and touch acuity required
