Job Responsibilities:
As a Banking Operations Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the setup, maintenance, and reporting of online banking services, including Bill Pay and E-Statements.
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and organizational policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
  • Processing wire transfers and managing dormant account reports.
  • Engaging with third-party vendors involved in banking operations.

Essential Functions:
Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting customer research on escalated issues and providing detailed information to other departments.
  • Identifying cross-sell opportunities and promoting our products and services to customers.
  • Communicating with customers via phone or other channels to provide account information, resolve complaints, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Documenting changes of address and performing general office duties such as filing and handling routine correspondence.
  • Adhering to security protocols as outlined in the organization's Information Security Program.
  • Completing various reports and processing transactions, including chargebacks and NSF items.
  • Maintaining accurate records for customer bank drafts and collection items.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Strong business telephone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Word and Excel, as well as internal banking software.
  • Active listening and conflict resolution skills.
  • A solid understanding of customer service principles and banking regulations.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; some college education is preferred.
