As a Retail Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a well-organized and fully stocked store by guiding and supporting Team Members in executing our inventory management strategies. Your leadership will drive operational excellence to achieve sales and profitability while safeguarding our assets. You will also assist in cultivating a customer-focused shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager in achieving sales and profit targets, as well as other key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with our annual objectives; manage the store team to meet their individual KPIs.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company policies, while holding the team accountable for store performance and conditions.
  • Recruit, train, and assess Team Members to drive results; identify and nurture talent for future leadership roles.
  • Provide coaching to Team Members and lead performance management processes when necessary.
  • Assist the Store Manager with workload planning, scheduling, and execution of store tasks, including managing Team Members' work hours and time-off requests.
  • Oversee the freight flow process to ensure adherence to truck standards.
  • Manage inventory processes within the store.
  • Ensure proper execution of planograms (POGs).
  • Oversee merchandise operations, including omni-channel initiatives.
  • Lead shrink reduction and safety programs.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and oversee the execution of promotional displays and seasonal layouts.
  • Foster a positive and respectful environment, even in challenging situations; embody the organization's vision and values while serving as a role model for others.
  • Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:

Preferred Experience:
  • Previous experience in retail management and leadership.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to navigate throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and access high shelves using ladders or similar equipment.
  • If assistance is needed to perform these job functions, please communicate with your supervisor to explore reasonable accommodations.
Work Environment:
  • Public retail setting with responsibilities for supervising Team Members and serving customers; climate-controlled public areas, with some stock rooms that may not be climate-controlled; outdoor work may be required; work hours may include evenings, weekends, and early mornings.
