Position Overview

At Donohoe Companies, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. We are currently seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for:

  • Thoroughly cleaning and preparing guest rooms and suites to meet our quality standards. This includes tasks such as making beds, sanitizing bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and organizing furniture.
  • Restocking essential items in guest rooms, including toiletries, linens, and towels.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in common areas, including hallways and entryways.
  • Ensuring the housekeeping cart is stocked and organized daily.
  • Managing key control for issued keys and ensuring the security of guest rooms.
  • Reporting lost and found items to the Executive Housekeeper for proper documentation.
  • Promptly notifying the Executive Housekeeper of any unusual occurrences in guest accommodations.
  • Taking laundry and dry-cleaning requests from guests.
  • Accommodating special requests from guests to enhance their stay.

Additional Duties

  • Adhering to all hotel policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Being flexible with work schedules to meet the demands of the business, including potential shifts outside of regular hours.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift, carry, and bend throughout the shift.
  • Strong ability to work independently and efficiently.

Compensation
