DEKA Research & Development is seeking a skilled Verification and Validation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in Manchester, NH.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and write comprehensive test procedures to assess the performance and reliability of user interfaces and hardware.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand device design and core technologies, informing test method development.
  • Determine test coverage for design revisions and create test fixtures as needed for product design verification.
  • Contribute to design failure investigations, impacting Risk Assessments, Hazard Analyses, and FMEAs.
  • Author Test Summaries and other critical documents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Physics, Biology, Electrical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering.
  • Experience in research, development, and product testing.
  • Proven ability to write procedures for others to follow.
  • Experience with data and failure analysis.
  • Broad knowledge of measurement instruments.
  • Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in medical devices, knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations (QSRs), and/or ISO 13485 is preferred.
