Job Summary

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for the procurement of chemical materials for the Chemical Distribution and Chemical Management programs at Chemico. This role involves maintaining, administering, and updating supplier and product data in the MAS (ERP system).

Key Responsibilities
  • Create purchase orders in MAS based on customer requests or requirements and send purchase orders to appropriate suppliers.
  • Follow up with suppliers to confirm receipt of purchase order and ensure required delivery dates can be met.
  • Track order progress to receipt of goods at customer location.
  • Interact with customers and on-site personnel on delivery, quality, or any other issues on purchase order.
  • Update and maintain supplier contact information in MAS.
  • Update and maintain all product information in MAS, including product pricing, lead time, shipping requirements, unit of measure, container volume, etc.
  • Establish and maintain effective supplier relations.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, purchasing, or related field of study is desired, or a minimum of an associate degree is required, or a minimum of 3 years related experience or equivalent combination of Education and Experience.
  • Ability to work with both technical and administrative personnel.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Ability to adhere to and meet deadlines.
  • Strong administrative and data management skills.
  • Ability to raise issues proactively and in a timely manner.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
