Overview

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Physical Therapist to become part of our expanding healthcare facility. The Physical Therapist (PT) will be responsible for delivering and coordinating therapeutic services for patients in both acute care and outpatient environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in assessment and evidence-based treatment methodologies, along with the ability to tailor treatment approaches to enhance patient outcomes. Participation in quality assurance programs, departmental meetings, and the supervision of support staff will also be key responsibilities.

Work Environment

This position requires travel between multiple facilities, providing care in a dynamic and supportive setting.

Compensation Structure

Our compensation framework includes 13 incremental pay levels, rewarding candidates based on their relevant experience.

Compensation Range:

$91.76 per hour

Employment Status / Shift Details

This role is offered on a per diem basis, primarily during weekdays.

Required Qualifications

Education:

A Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's degree from an accredited institution. Successful completion of the National Physical Therapist Examination (NPTE) and compliance with state licensing requirements are essential. A valid BLS certification for healthcare providers is also required.

Experience:

Preferred candidates will have 2 to 3 years of experience in acute care or outpatient settings.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong interpersonal communication skills, a compassionate approach, and meticulous attention to detail are vital. Candidates should possess current knowledge of treatment practices and demonstrate independent problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in evaluating patients through diagnostic tests related to muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities.
  • Administer treatments aimed at alleviating pain and restoring function to optimize patient performance.
  • Document and communicate patient responses to treatment and any changes in their condition to the physician.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding the use of assistive devices.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.
