Job Title: Physical Therapist

Next Move Healthcare is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Quincy, CA and Greenville, CA. As a Physical Therapist, you will provide and coordinate physical therapy services for both acute/swing bed patients in a hospital setting and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and adapt treatment techniques to improve patient outcomes, offering evidence-based treatments and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise PT assistants/aides as needed and help promote physical therapy within the hospital and the local community.
  • Educate patients and families on the use of assistive devices, such as canes, walkers, wheelchairs, prosthetics, and orthotics.
  • Attend and participate in rehabilitation center staff meetings and in-service presentations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy required; Masters in Physical Therapy preferred from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Physical Therapy license from the Physical Therapy Board of California.
  • Valid BLS certification for healthcare providers from the American Heart Association.
  • 2-3 years of experience in acute skilled nursing or outpatient settings preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly Pay Range: $53.63 - $74.46 per hour, depending on experience (up to 30 years of relevant experience).
  • Sign-on Bonus: $10,000.
  • Housing Stipend: Three months of paid housing or a $1,200 per month housing stipend for the first three months.
