Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center is seeking part-time Clinic Aides to support our Language to Literacy program.

Job Summary:

The Clinic Aide will assist clinicians, supervisors, and directors with programmatic, clinical, and contractual tasks. Responsibilities include preparing and organizing materials, implementing curriculum activities, and attending to individual student needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Speech-Language Pathologists/Teachers in implementing curriculum activities
  • Reinforce targets as laid out by the Language to Literacy, Social Communication & Leap Into Literacy curriculums
  • Prepare and organize activity supplies and materials
  • Work in small groups or one-on-one with students, reinforcing curriculum goals
  • Actively participate in activities facilitated by instructors
Requirements:
  • High energy and a drive to work hard
  • Sensitive to individuals in a multitude of circumstances
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Preferred enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program at a four-year accredited university or college studying speech-language disabilities or communication sciences and disorders
Work Environment:

The Clinic Aide will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a team of professionals to provide high-quality services to students.
